why r people so mean to people that work in the public,. like cashiers, or tellamarketers? don't they know that we are just people trying to make a living like everyone else.

Not everyone is rude, cashiers, I appreciate, you are working and trying to make a living, that's a good quality to have, keep it up.
Telemarketers? If you call me at home and try to sell me something, I may be a little rude, if I watned to buy your product, I would have called YOU.

I've never really noticed anyone being rude to a cashier unless they are so busy looking out the window or talking to their friends that they are not paying attention to the customer.
Telemarketers know that they are going to be annoying people for a living so they really should expect it.

I totally agree! I work for a real estate office that builds and leases out office suites. I have to make the rent collection calls and people get so mad and yell and scream at me all the time because they dont' have the money or they dont' want to be bothered. Well I am sorry to everyone but I am just doing my job and am trying to make enough money to live on. I totally agree with you that people shouldn't get mad and be rude!

because when we tell you not to call,you are the rude one that still calls,so your question should be,why am i so rude when someone tells me not to call back and i do?,as far as a cashier,that is someone just being rude,telemarketing ,you people are way out of line

I know I was a cashier and wow I got treated like CRAP by alot of people..now whenever I go somewhere I make sure and treat them extra nice.

I don't know why people are rude period. You have to just smile and kill them with that. Some people strength is making other people unhappy. Brush it off always be nice and don't stoop down to the level of those jerks. Life is too short to be unhappy.

Telemarketers are rude. Cashiers and other public works are fine. I always try to make my telemarketers cry, or at the vey least, waste their time. It's a job they chose, not one they have to have.

ya i no people just do it for fun i mean this one day i was going to cash a check and this guy starts yelllin at the cashier cuz his check wouldnt go through

After dealing with customers who are rude, its normal for anyone to finally start getting tried and being rude back. Then again some people are just jerks.

I agree...I work in retail and I find that people have no respect for other people!!!! The rude ones just think they are better than you.
