Every time I turn on my laptop, it shows the XP sign with the loading bar and after it load it has a plain black screen. I try to turn it off but it won't work.

Your OS appears to be messed up. Try this repair procedure that keeps all files and pprograms INTACT.

Worked for me thrice in different PCs and w/ one of our peers here.
Then do a virus scan afterwards to check if a virus messed up your OS.

I had the same problem Last week but then the computer would reboot over and over
I tried to repair from the CD but couldn't so I have the Hard Drive in to be checked but I think it may actually be a processor problem
I'm going to buy a new PC
I hate Bill Gates

Your copy of XP is corrupted. insert the XP cd and restart the PC. Then Boot from CD and perform a system repair.

get your XP CD out and perform a Repair operation in XP Setup
