Did you flush it down the toilet when it died?

Yes,I have had many goldfish over the yrs.And my mom usually flushed them down the toilet when they died.

When I was a kid I used to keep minnows that I caught in the river outside my yard. None of them died on me, I let them go back in the river after a month or so. Perches are so funny to keep as pets, they're smart and have a lot of charecter. Northern Pikes are the worst to keep as pets, they don't get along with any other fish, they'll eat each other, and they don't do anything but stay there.

Have one now. I plan to but I hope it doesn't die yet. I've only had it for a week and a half.
I had a fish when I was 3, and I cooked it like Mommy on the play skillet. Dad got upset, but I told him I would put it back when I was done.

no... i put it in the disposal.
i figured it was better.
i am scarred for life, though, and will never have a fish again.
i had 2 betas... but they died a few months apart. - yes i took care of them - they were just old.

Yes I did, it was a stingray. He wouldn't fit in the toilet so I buried him.
