Acceptance. Accepting your life for what it is, and making the best out of it. If you resent what you do than how can you be happy for yourself?
Learning how to accept who you are and that you can't change the unchangeable is the key to being happy with what you got. Now distinguishing between the changeable and the unchangeable is another question, for another time.

I think people believe there is a certain level that you reach where you are simply happy and done with it, but I don't think it really works that way. I think happiness comes from constant improvement and development and the knowledge that you are continually becoming better as a whole at the rate that you want.
Of course there are goals and sub-goals -- to use a monetary example, if you are building a business or investing and you reach a million in profits, then you can enjoy it for a moment and then aim for ten. Of course this applies not just to wealth but to any other worthwhile goals.
Of course there will be moments of disappointment when goals aren't always met or as quickly as you would like, but this is when we realize we must work harder or try something different in order to obtain what we really want.
Happiness is meeting our full potential.

Happiness is a mental state. The key therefore is to concentrate on what changes mood, and your mental state. Avoid the negative, and accentuate the positive.
Food, exercise, and the company you keep can be significant factors. Sunshine helps as well.
Eat the right food stuffs, exercise a lot, and get out in the sunshine without burning your skin.
Be your own best friend. and you will always be happy regardless of the company you keep!

He became international-sought after, specific, yet i don't think of he became all that large. Sigmund Freud became a guy with a great number of secrets and techniques, merely as he reported "ill" human beings have, and from what i've got examine, his approaches of curing others have been questionable, to not point out his own family contributors existence as a study in dysfunctional. those are my first recommendations. As in step with him being a logician i be conscious of not plenty quite, on account that I wasn't interpreting with that for the duration of recommendations. I do think of he became good at self-merchandising, so at the instant he probably might have made a equipment deal on the self-help books so general a little while in the past. that's what i think of of Freud.

Money? That will only make your poorly chosen values more painful to you. Just ask Paris Hilton. The thing that will bring you most happiness is putting something in your life ahead of happiness. If you just go around seeking to be happy you will not be paying attention to the things that make people happy. Know yourself. Learn to create a large intellectual house to live in and realize that the things you actually value will bring happiness in their wake. If you grasp it too tightly, the gods will take it from you.

and so happiness occurs when our conscious needs are satisfied and we are satiated and so irradiate a healthy glow in our eyes and in our faces.

I think that the key to happiness is going to be different for every person. If you have too much money, you wouldn't appreciate what you have, therefore i don't think money is as important as it may seem.

The key to happiness is satisfaction.
If a person is satisfied with their status, relationships, spirit, situation, the way their life is headed, accomplishments, etc.etc.
Then that person is happy :)
