Pointy shoes are classy and sophisticated, and you will see a lot of the top designers design their dress shoes with a point. In addition to a heel of any height, the point elongates the leg, and it is a great illusion for women who desire their legs to appear thinner/longer. Women, who have never owned a pair, will shy away from this style in fear that it will be difficult to walk in them or they will make their feet appear larger - both are myths, especially when you find the correct fit and overall style.

Why does anyone wear pointy shoes? They must think they look nice.There are a lot more young women wearing pointy- toed shoes than old women.
I think they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever, second only to very high stilettos.
They do remind me of the Wicked Witch of the West.....

lots of people wear pointy shoes, there are loads in topshop and new look...
i think you already know the answer to the queston, obviously, they wear them cuz they think they look nice.
