good question. we live in a very old century house. its way too expensive to heat properly, it has no fireplace because in 1905 when it was built, it was considered "modern". its appx 3500 sq feet. So now it has an updated furnace and we keep the thermostat in the winter at 62 degrees. we just wear layers. once in awhile if you walk out in the snow, and come back in it actually feels warm. We do not have air conditioning, so in the summer we open all the windows at night, cool it off, then in the morning before we go to work we close it all up. it stays pretty comfortable in the summer. what about you?

I am part polar bear. In the winter time, I keep a window open a few inches, and put a fan in front of it; then I snuggle up with my hubby under a big comforter.

In the summer, I set my bedroom air conditioner to 'arctic circle' as my hubby describes it.

year round, my house (except where the babies are at any given moment) is about 50 degrees. Sorry, I need that.

Is this a trick question? Oh okay well my house is 75 degrees right now and that is with the cooler on :( In the winter we have a wood stove and yes we keep it aobut 75 degrees still.

I hardly use the heater in the winter and in the summer I keep it about 85 degrees. I love the cold weather and just get through the summer best I can.

Build a normal kennel + an extra roof about 4" air gap and similar on the sunny side wall and end. Similar effect to a flysheet on a tent. You could also erect a flysheet as a large porch so outside the kennel entrance is shaded, an automatic water bowl might help too.

The dial is set at 75, which is comfortable here both winter and summer .....central heat and central air..stay constant., the ceiling fans keep things circulating, then sometimes everything goes off and the windows get opened...
thank you for asking.

No. My house is old enough to stay really comfortable in the summer, But I tend to visit extensively in the winter. LOL
