My friends calf muscles have become oversized to the point the her boots (zip up to below the knee) do not fit. I realise these muscles must be making up for something else, but not sure what?

muscles develop in response to demand placed on them. She must be doing some type of activity that is causing muscle development. Maybe walking stairs or riding up on tiptoe over and over again? If she isn't gaining weight all over then something specific is the cause.
