If she punched you for no reason at all, then YES call them now. They will arrest her and take her to jail, and you will be placed with a relative or a foster home.

If she punched you because you did something bad, then she still shouldn't have PUNCHED you, more than likely the police will scold you for being bad, or still yet, they could arrest her.

So I guess it is your call........ Esp. if she does this on a regular basis...

When I was a teenager years ago....
I got into an argument with my mom because she wouldn't let me go somewhere I wanted to go. I got upset and was throwing a fit, she came in the room and HONESTLY, my foot came up and hit her leg. She got mad and slapped me across the face, giving me a black eye........ You know what. I deserved it. I was being a brat.

Go to the emergency room at a hospital!

Your behavior may have warranted a violent response. People don't realize that others have a right to physically defend themselves when met with violence (punching, kicking, slapping, weapons, and other degrees of violence.). In many towns, yelling is often referred to as "head-butting" (as in "you butthead"). If you don't like it: vote with your feet! Move away: claim a steak (or stake) in the world.

A punch to the belly can cause a ruptured organ. Stomach, intestines, kidnies, etc. Yes, calling the police could be a correct course of action. A hospital is the place to visit after being punched.
