What's wrong with American women...?

Question

I know so many American men in the Philippines married to a filipina and I was told they'd never go back to an American woman again. Generally speaking (since I believe many American women are very good wives), what is it about them that the men do not like?

(Generally speaking of course) They get more selfish year by year, which doesn't make being in a give and take relationship practical. They are also becoming more masculine in the way the dress, act, think, walk, etc. Pinays are anything but manly. :)

All these people who are defending manly american women by claiming asians/latinas/africans etc. are doormats don't know what they're talking about. They do know how to pout and blame others when they don't get asked to the prom though.

Generally speaking American women are culturally brought up different than Asian women, at least 30-50 years ago, now a days I can't say, but, ( it seems to me, after being in VeitNam, Japan, Phillippines, and, Korea while in the Army,many years ago, so I can't say now), that alot of the Asian women wanted to get married to an American so they could have a legal entrance into the USA.

Case at point, I personnally know 3 different situations to base this on. One GI buddy married a gal from Veitnam, one married a gal from the Phillippines, and the third, from Japan. All of them are divorsed from their Asian wives now, but, in all cases, when I asked, what happened, they all gave the same answers. The first answer was they just got married so they could come to the USA legally, the second answer was they all cheated on their husbands, and the third answer was, all the women said, only after the divorce was final, that they never loved the guy, that they only married him so they could live in the States and be..... now get this !!..... " Treated with Dignaty and Respect, like American Women, instead of just a sex object or house cleaner".

Now I'll be the first to admit that this is probably not the norm, I am only telling you this based on my personnal experiences. I have talked to all three of the women involed in this answer, to you, as I thought I was, at least, a friend to each, and they confirmed these answers. (actually, I wanted to marry Yoshi, when I found out she was divorcing Bobby) so this answer is not a biaslly based one.

I believe that the Young, Men and Women in the Armed Services that get stationed in foreign countries, no matter where, should be given councel on the pro's and con's of marring, foreigners, especially with emphasis on Religious back ground and the ramifications it will have in and on the marriage but most important marrage counceling in general

I'm a white woman. I cook, clean, take care of my kids & have my own opinion. I think that they marry asians/filipina's because that is who their attracted to. I've seen white women, black women, hispanic women etc who are treated like door mats too.
It doesn't matter the race. There are women of all races that allow men to **** on them!
To each his own! There are many men out here that want an American Woman too.

Most American women are not subservient, they do not follow the man wears the pants belief that alot of other countries do. Also, when a man marries a female straight from a third world country, they think of themselves as very lucky to be in the USA, and appreciate their husband much more than a US born woman would!

There could be allot of reasons but they cant judge the whole american woman society of a few relationships theyve had. But some american woman are gold diggers and use man for there money and get rid of them, arent looking for a real man and just want to sleep around, some woman dont want to work so they try and find rich and famous man. they expose them selves to much like some woman have the need to try and impress every male that comes along and it shouldnt be that way. they either got problems or do some sort of drug. I sont know its just hard to find decent people in this country cuz everything is about how you look, sex and money and dont no man want no woman like that. They want a real woman some one who will have their kids and love them for them and not what they have or how they look.

Nothing is wrong with American women. They are the greatest!

Men who marry Filipinos want a submissive wife who will not express herself. We all know that a real American gal would never have that.

It's not American women, it was those men. Men who say that want a woman he can control, that doesn't voice her own opinions and wants. A lot of men want "June Cleaver," but there aren't too many of them around. Being subservient went out along time ago.

Well, speaking as the only american so far with a Philippina girlfriend I think most of these people are full of themselves. There is nothing wrong with American women. I've dated many. The only problem I had from American women came from their lack of respect. One dumped me on my birthday five minutes before I had to start for work. She also told me she had been cheating on me for the past six months.... Ouch... The next one cheated on me with my best friend for two months then dumped me to get enguaged to him, then dumped him to become a lesbian..... hrmmm Maybe there IS something wrong with American women.
My current girlfriend is amazing. We have two houses here in the Philippines, several business, and we are in the process of buying a farm. I would rather go for intelligence and honesty then someone who lies and cheats anyday wouldn't you?
As for the doormat comments. I know there are alot of americans that do that, but in America women treat men like doormats, or else they are lesbian.

Maybe Filipinas pamper their men a bit more; I dunno. I'll take a U.S. babe any day.
