some babies never crawl....they roll, creep, drag or whatever to get where they want to go, then just up and walk one day. Not uncommon. I wouldn't worry about the not crawling, but if he isn't walking by his first birthday I'd mention it when I ask the dr. about walking. Most likely they'll tell you not to worry.

My daughter did the same just put a blanket down on the floor hopefully u have carpet somewhere if not use quite a few blankets & lay him on his belly (tummy time) (supervised of course) that will help him learn the functions of his limbs eventually he will stard crawling! just give him maybe 15-30 mins a day when he does something correctly praise him.... don't worry he will be fine if he gets to frustrated thought sit him up & give him a toy or something to play with then start over again the next day!every baby is different they may lern some things quicker than others

no don't listen to people!!! you can not judge you baby on other peoples babies. He will crawl when he wants to. I have been told that some babies don't crawl for very long they just start walking. so don't be worried your child will crawl when he wants to.

I know its hard to not judge your child on what others are doing. I have the same problem at times and I have twins. at first I did judge them as one but now I know that one will do something and it might take the other a couple of days to do the same thing or not do it at all.

best of luck and just be patient.

every baby is different. My sister has twins, a boy and a girl, both 8 mos old. they are both starting to crawl and learning to walk. my niece has it down, she can crawl backwards and forwards and she can stand if she helps herself up on a chair or couch and she can even walk along the couch, holding onto the edge. My nephew can scoot forward and crawl backward and he is starting to crawl forward. he still has trouble helping himself up into a standing position and he can't walk along the edge of the couch like my niece can. they all hit every milestone, but at a different time. the girl even got teeth before the boy! each baby is going to work at his or her own pace and that's the way it is.

I wouldn't worry 2 much bout what other people say. Every baby is like every adult, they do things at their on pace. My daughter walked at 9months and my son at 13months. Babies do everything when they are ready and who knows that may be the way he chooses to crawl and may begin walking soon after.
