Mine is almost the same. When there's food he's there in a second. But, according to him, I don't ask him to help with laundry, dishes, walking HIS dog...
... geez.

I wouldn't say selective hearing:
1-Something has happen to the courtship!
2-When each of you started taking each other for granted you get this.
3- Walk in front of the TV with some new breast en plants
4-After getting yourself all waxed leave the bedroom door open and holler come catch this slippery bug.

Yeah I feel your pain.
I generally get that selective hearing from him when he is messing around on his computer. I say DINNER! He's there. I say the house is on fire the sh*tter is overflowing & I get about a minute of silence & then "huh?" so I repeat myself same thing.

I think all men have this, just mention Sex or a BJ and they hear every word you say, but talk about anything else and it is like we are invisible.

lol, sounds like he only listens to the things he wants to. A lot of guys do that, when they hear something they like, they listen. If they hear something and don't like it, they don't think about it and just ignore it but say something so they think you think their listening. Guys are stupid ! lol

No. And if he doesn't hear me the first time I usually make him fidget thinking it was something really important.
