My friend's driver's license was revoked, and I haven't gotten mine yet . My friend has to go see a doctor in another town, and I might like to be driven across the state to visit my aunt . It's hard for us to find a friend to drive us, even if we pay for the gas and buy him dinner . I'm not ready to hire a full -- time chauffer, but an unemployed person might be willing to drive us on a long trip if we pay for the gas, buy him dinner, and gave him twenty -- five dollars . How do I go about making that offer, and how do I find the person I'm looking for ?

Get a cab. At least they have insurance. Do not offer randomn people money. Check the local transit website for buses or any other option. Ask a parent. Do anything other than hitchhike or offer money to randoms.

In my town, we call the local limo service. They have vans that pick us up and drive us from bar to bar. It's like 80$ for a whole night, for a whole van.

And even be careful when getting a taxi. I know people who have been robbed by taxi drivers, cause my friends had no idea where they were etc...
