Doesn't surprise me. Unfortunately, tweens are pretty successful at getting their parents to buy them exactly what they want... which is, evidentally, annoying Disney musical sountrack albums?
Oh well. I think it's some ritual that everyone goes through - a few years of horrible taste in music. I was in love with N'Sync when I was 11... scary thought.

How much can they possibly play up one Disney Channel movie? It had almost no plot, and a few of the actors/actresses were lip synching. How on Earth would that make them famous? It's all beyond me.

Agree,it sold far to much in my opinon that show has a load of cheesy actors and a predictable plot.

I didn't know that but it doesn't surprise me. HSM is being blown up into this huge phenomenon and it really isn't that great.
