My girl was born with white heads on the bridge of her nose and then @ about 1 to 2 months she broke out horribly all over her face. Not uncommon at all. I just wiped her face down the a warm cloth, no soap twice a day and gave her her bath everynight...it went away within about a month.
I used soap with her bath but didn't when wiping during the day. Also, try changing detergents to the no scents no dye version. Sometimes even the slightest chemical scent and dye even in baby detergent can become an irritant to some infants.

My daughter had a few. The pediatrician told me that it takes a couple of months after birth for the mom's hormones to decrease in the baby and that the pimples would go away naturally. And they did!
Just to be safe, use baby wash but no lotion or powder, and use the special baby detergent for the clothes and sheets.

Infant acne is very common and normal. My babies had some too. It's usually gone quickly and without needing to do anything about it. Just make sure you bathe her as normal and don't pick at the spots. If they don't go away after a couple weeks then go to the doctor and get an opinion.

My first child had the worst case of infant acne ever!! It drove me crazy. I felt like when I went places with him everyone stared. They certainly had plenty of symphathtic comments. Rule number one is LEAVE THEM ALONE. Do not pick at them at all. Number two, cleanse the area several times a day with a wet cloth. Number three, do not use any acne treatments. You can try a very thin layer of hydrocortisone once a day or every other day to see if this helps. The cause and the culprit is your hormones leaving babys system. Cheer up, it will probably pass within a couple of weeks!

It's common in all babies, mostly right after birth and for the first 3 months. Basically it's like they are in puberty and their hormones are fluctuating and adjusting from the hormones you gave them while in utero. It also is caused by the pores cleaning themselves out after birth caus eof the amniotic fluid and if they sweat alot because of the summer months. It's normal and nothing to worry about.

Big question is r u breastfeeding if yes, then it could be something you ate or drank that is making your milk sour. But yes most babies get that, just get some medicine at the chemist, dont pick at the pimples it will make scars........ good luck
