If someone asks you, "Have you ever done cocaine?", if the truth is No, then you say "No".
If the truth is Yes, but you can't get yourself to admit it, and you're afraid to tell a bald-faced lie, you take issue with the question even being asked. You say, "I'm not going to play that political game." and refuse to answer. That's exactly what Bush did.
What's so hard about saying, "I never did cocaine"? Bush can't seem to.
Additional evidence: Bush, while in the Air National Guard, put himself on the Voluntary N0-Fly List the night before a mandatory drug test. This meant he wouldn't have to take the test.

A lot of "who cares' and "so what". That doesn't correspond with so many answers. People DO care, obviously.
I'm just showing what a lying weasel he is. And what silly excuse-makers his worshippers are.

Just about as bad as Dick Cheney's drinking and shooting friends in the face while drunk.
They have been programmed for denial
They are unaware it is a disease
Wow - you posted this and within 5 seconds had 10 Con answers.

Ok, so what has you in such a snit over this now? I am sure you polled 250 people you would have only a few who might admit or deny that they used any drugs.
Most would say "why do you need to know", or "I don't care to answer" - - so why should Bush, or anyone else not be able to say that?
You have a field day if they don't answer it, you have a field day if they do, so it is pretty much a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I just say don't fret the small things, and concentrate on the larger problems.

This is why the founding fathers made the provision that the president must be minimally 35 years old. Who cares what mistakes he made as a youth? If people had been allowed to focus on actual political issues at election time, there seems to be no way this guy could have come close either time. We never do get to hear candidates debate a real issue.

No, until there is any credible proof or testimony that he has done any cocaine, there is no reason for anybody to believe this to be true.
What's the deal with you people being so adamant that Bush had to have done cocaine, even though nobody has come forward with such a story? Get over it, already.

Because there's no credible evidence that it occurred.
The "non-answer answer" is the same one Clinton gave when asked by Sam Donaldson whether Juanita Broaddrick's allegation that he raped her was true. By your own standard, you must believe that also.
I have asked my own question earlier today about what standard of proof people would like to see before believing these kind of stories:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvrmHHuCW6dRMXP4rgCv_NDsy6IX?qid=20070730065738AApAO0f
I personally believe a named individual, in a position to know, coming forward on the record is a good start.
Ms. Broaddrick has. Anyone claiming to have personal knowledge of Bush using cocaine has not.
PS There are reports (of what quality, I don't know) that Roger Clinton claimed his brother had a "nose like a vacuum cleaner." It is apparently on tape. But I don't know whether he was ever asked to explain the comments:
http://www.newsmax.com/cgi-bin/showinside.pl?a=2001/2/23/114636
I just want the same standard, whatever it is, to be applied to all.

They're all corrupt. I will vote, but I've given up in trusting any politicians. At this point, if Nixon was running I'd even vote for him. Lying, foul mouthed, weasly b-----d that he was, at least HE knew how to handle international relations without putting the whole world in danger of being blown to kingdom come.

Why do we have to admit it? He already did publicly long before he was elected the first time. Why are you digging up things that have already been dealt with and apparently every one but you knows about?

You can't use the lack of denial coupled with the lack of evidence as proof that it happened.
There is no proof that Bush did cocaine, so why should we admit that he did?
