You don't have to consciously remember learning something to say you've learned it. You obviously learned to walk but I'm willing to bet you don't remember when that happened! The mind is an amazingly wondrous thing of which we are only beginning to understand. And yes, they say we learned the most important things between those ages.

It isn't learning your alphabet or numbers that they are talking about. It is basic. You learn to go to the bathroom in a toilet, not to kill small animals, how to use a spoon and fork. If your raised by being beat and yelled at all the time, you will probably to grow up to do the same things. If you are raised with kindness, consideration, and caring, then you probably will be a person like that.

Supposedly it's true. You may not remember being a certain age, but if you think about it, you haven't forgotten what you learned at that age. In those years, you learn to walk, talk, eat, read, love, etc. I've read reports, though, that under hypnosis, you actually remember everything you ever saw, read, heard, etc.

No, I learned how to make a paper box ( you know by folding paper and stuff) when I was 9 and it has stuck with me for a while. I just can't remember how to make a crane. I learned that when I was 10. It's weird but I'll make a crane sometime soon....I hope.

Frankly, I've never heard that.

Well, I have heard that our subconscious minds record everything we experience [like some 1,000,000 gigabyte hard-drive], but little of that would ever surface. There must be some truth to it since some people who are abused as infants can have emotional imbalances later on.

Anyway, I can barely remember what I did five minutes ago! :-)

It is said that your personality, and the kind of person that you're going to be is formed by age 6.

Don't know why most can't remember, but some people say they can.

You practice the same things you did then, (except peeing your pants), but as far as learning to bond, love, nuture, that is all learned during those years...the formidable years!!
