I hear this from friends of mine, and it seems a little strange. Do you honestly think you're getting old, and would like the world to forget you have a birthday?

(I'm still a kid, by fall, I will be telling people 'I'll be 46 in June')

I am indifferent to birthdays, its what I see in the mirror that molds my dread......
Im amazed at all these 20 year old girls having aging dreads!! I guess things have changed and aging is THE WORST thing going. I know the baby boomers werent thinking such things till they hit 40 maybe.
I didnt start hating aging (birthdays) until I hit 35, then I actually noticed things like sagging under the chin, crows feet at the temples. Yeah, birthdays, good riddance!
But seriously young gals reading this, CHILL OUT! You dont know what aging IS! I couldnt WAIT to be 21 and be able to drink legally! My twenties were the best time of my life!! (so far) aging, in my twenties? Yeesh!!
Someone find me a CEO to strangle, I blame these age cream ads for this crap!!
i would like to ad though, though youthful smoothness is very desirable indeed, many girls, men, dont really reach their sex appeal peak until they hit mid to upper 20's! I could site many examples.........

Hmmmmph, you are just a young Whippersnapper. None of my kids will forget that I am having a birthday in early fall. One of them expresses astonishment that I can still walk up and down stairs. Of course there's no way of getting around it, the sidewalk is getting closer, but I've decided to grin and bear it before I make contact.

EVERY YEAR, oh yes I DO!!!! I will be turning 50 biologically, but me brain says I'm just a "big" kid and 50 just doesn't register. I have said for years, "Birthday, WHAT Birthday?!?!?!, don't need them anymore"........I TOTALLY agree with you. :-))
