how do i get rid of gnats in my fishtank?

everytime i wash it not even a week later i will have tiny gnats flying around laying eggs then ill have baby mosqitos in there can anyone help please?

These may not be gnats or mosquitos, but midges. And since they lay their eggs in water (or on your filter media) the tank naturally attracts them. The larvae won't harm your fish, and the fish will more than likely eat most of the larvae (bloodworms, sold as fish food are a red variety of midge larvae). About all you can to to discourage them is to keep the tank and filter covered as best you can so they can't reach the water or filter media
