My hair is long & has medium curls (not super curly, but not straight, medium brown with natural light brown & blondish highlights), my eyes are medium brown, my face tends to lean forward to my European side (except for my nose, its button like, but cute lol), I'm 5'6, 118 lbs & my skin color is like Christina Milian's. Everyone says I should be an Abercrombie model, but I hardly see other ethnicities besides white people. Can I still be one?

yes, you might start with modeling for local stores then work up to abercrombie. being a model has some to do with how you look but a lot more to do with how you respond to a camera. most people are conscious and can't totally relax when someone is takingtheir picture. only one in 10,000 can be a model because you have to be totally relaxed and natural while people are takingyour picture. it's not about how you look but also other skills.

Why not? Go for it! I understand where you're coming from b/c I am a fellow mixed chick (black, german, korean, native american) but I'm like a milk chocolate skin tone w/mid-back length hair and very narrow, almond-shaped eyes so most people can automatically tell that I'm black and other, and to my surprise I get compliments all of the time when i shop in stores such as Abercrombie and Hollister, so who knows-if the modelling recruters for the store are as nice as most of the staff that I have encountered than you should give it a try!

You sound like modeling would be perfect for you. However, I wouldn't limit myself to Abercrombie. There is lots of work out there if you have the stamina and perseverance to go for it. I used to model professionally, and I can tell you it's not easy. However in the long run it is worth it. If some one doesn't want you because you're not white enough, there are others that will want you for exactly the same reason. Good luck and good hunting.

Well, I think you should represent for African-American girls! It would be a great opportunity to show diversity and don't let statistics hold you back. Alot of people told me that I should be a model at something like Baby Phat, or RoccaWear, something "ghetto" just because the color of my skin and I'm mixed too! Bajan (like Rhianna) and Portuguese/Guyanese! If America is such a diverse place, why can't we all be accepted? To sum it up, the world is what you make of it! You want that modeling career for Abercrombie? don't let anything hold you back, if your hearts in it..what people think won't matter. :)

it is a few distance much less approximately looks than what you think of, tho if we are actually not fascinated in a gal, then not something happens. Remeber adult men want gals that think of he's captivating. it is straightforward to think of somebody is captivating in the event that they think of you're. you will boost your caliper of male acquaintances in case you deemphasize looks. You propably dont want a good looking yet very superficial guy, and we dont wont a good looking yet very superficial female the two. Being captivating interior, via doing issues collectively with being trustworthy and loving in all issues will make your exterior captivating. forget the abercrombie look.

I don't know why you couldn't be an Abercrombie model but you know you have to work at the store first to be able to sign up to be one. So if your not 18 and you don't work at the store you cannot become one.
