I wonder what would happen if our troops just stopped policing Iraq for the month. And you pro-war neo-cons wonder why we want our troops out now. We are giving everything and getting nothing.

Glen, I fail to see the comparison between Iraq and Hitler. Hitler had conquered most of Europe...Iraq is in the middle of a civil war and the US is policing it. Quite a difference.

Why, yes, and they could also take two weeks at the Bush Ranch in Crawford! Or how about the Congress and Senate? Or better yet, let Bush and the Republicans who support this stupid war, take their places on the line! I like that one even better!

haha that would be good! However I can't get too down on the Iraqi parliment, considering our own congress is about to take a nice long vacation, too.

Yes, but they're vacation should be permanent and leave the Iraqi Parlaiment to deal with there own problems.

They should get some vacation since the Iraqi's ain't doing anything. satans attorney is tripping. deployments are lasting atleast 15 months and some longer now.

Actually, each soldier does indeed get a month off every year. Of course, you can't do that for all soldiers at one time.

Those that have the leave time saved and can get their leave approved can get the time off. This is the way it has always been and the way it will always be.
