the jump starting part is peculiar there little johnny. I would guess that the problem is electrical... the computer cannot properly operate the engine control system below 9 volts. Perhaps the flux capacitor needs more flux. i suspect a bad seat to steering wheel interface or perhaps a problem with the nut behind the wheel. seriously though..... Install a new battery and if it fires up and runs check charging system voltage. if its under 13.5 volts get a new alternator chico. that should generate the 1.21 gigawatts of power you need to get the flux capacitor fluxing without having to steal unanium from the terrorists.
Good luck and if you need anymore help ill be at the twin pines mall at midnight.

The answer is in the question.Jump start, leads off ,if the battery is so flat, where does the electrical components get any input.Either the battery is done or it isn,t being fed,the latter sounds more probable as if the alternator was outputting it would keep going.Don,t overlook that it might be both Be lucky

once you have jumped it leave it to tick over for about 10 minutes and then try to rev it, it stalls because you dont have enough charge in the battery.

Alternator problem, not charging!!!
When you jump start it the battery has just enough power to keep it ticking over.
When you rev it, there's not enough power and it stalls.

either buy another or charge the battery... actually, its the alternator, coz once you ve jumped it, the alternator should kick in and continue to generate power.
you could even try letting it tick over, coz if the battery is flat, how long has it been standing?

Sounds like plugged up fuel injectors and a bad battery/alternator.
