Going to orlando, from Oct,24th-31st, is it still nice and green at that time of the year I'm big on lush or tropical settings. I know miami stays pretty green but i dont know about central florida.
Chcago is almost naked at that time

Florida stays lush pretty much year-round. I lived in Orlando, and it didn't matter the time of year - it was always green and warm (with the exception of just a handful of days each year).

Its always lush all year round. Only maybe in North Florida do trees lose leaves. But there really are only two seasons in Florida. Dry season which is Winter Spring and Wet Season Summer Fall. Orlando is not a true tropical climate like Miami but there wont be any changing color leaves or anything like that.

That's a perfect time to go to Orlando because it's not that cold yet and it's not as hot as it is during the summer. Everything will be lush and tropical like you want.

leaves never change color in orlando. It is a really comfertable time of year it is about 75 degrees and a perfect time to visit the parks. You could even go to the beach. (i went on new years eve last year) And it is not too hot like now.

It will be mostly green, The predominate Oaks, Palms and most shrubbery keep their leaves year round. About the only hint of 'fall' will be yellowing sycamores and thining cypress trees, but they won't be bare until December.
The maples, sweet gums, and elms will be at there peak of fall color (such as it is) around Christmas time.
