I am working on an assignment for class and it is a hypothical one. I need someone to help me write a business report proposal. The investigation has already been done. I need to try and incorporate these facts: sales have declined, employee morale has declined, absenteeism has increased, and overall productivity has slipped by 10 percent. Can some help me please?

All of these things reflect a management crisis. New leadership, new marketing strategies, and a better overall work environment must be incorparated to the business, asap. First, I would take a look at the current management? What would it take to fire or demote the person in charge or create a higher position and make the current management aware that they have a new boss. Next, I would call all the employees together and ask for their input on how things can be turned around. In other words, make them aware of how much productivity has decreased, how much absenteeism has increased and ask for immediate input. Also, I would offer a few little incentives at work that can be earned by meeting quotas, or attending regularly.
If the business fails, everyone will have to look elsewhere for income. It would be much easier to turn this around.

Hypothetical product: A knife with two parallel blades to cut two slices of something at the same time.
Are you writing the report, or the proposal?
The report is different from the proposal, and the proposal would probably say that the company needs to change the product, or close down altogether.
The report merely tells the facts. Use power point to illustrate the failure of the product to actually WORK!!.
