Unless you are working under the table I would call the Labor Board in your respective state.

Why would you work for someone not knowing when you're getting paid? If this is a brand new business and you (a) enjoy being part of a start-up company and (b) will grow with the business, and (c) don't especially need the money, stay.

But this sounds like an unstable company to me. Do they tell the electric company they'll get paid when the salesman makes a sale? Would the electric company wait? I don't think so. Find something more stable where you know what you're making and when you can count on getting what you earned.

For how long you work there, ask him to pay you... if he don't do it, tell him that you quit... maybe...
