The problem is scary b/c of all the zeroes but trust me its a lot easier than you think.
Its easier for you to just count the zeroes before you do anything.
10,000,000 is equal to 7 zeroes.
100,000 is equal to 5 zeroes.
We know that when you multiply any number by 10, you simply add a zero to the end of the number. In other words, you're simply adding zeroes.
When you multiply 10,000,000 by 10, you're simply adding one more zero to your 7 zeroes (7+1), which means you end up with 8 zeroes total (ignore the actual amount, just remember 8 zeroes).
When we move on to multiplying 100,000 times 1,000, we simply add 3 more zeroes rather than just 1. So using this logic, 5 + 3 = 8 zeroes total.
8 = 8.
Which means that both answers are the same.
You can check the work using long mutiplication, but trust me when I say, its all simply adding the zeroes.
I've not only answered your question but shown you how you can do it as well. I trust you'll use this answer to better learn the material rather than simply find an answer.

They are equal amounts. They don't make $1,000 bills in the US other countries that have $ currencies still make them.
