The 1936 Buffalo (Bison) nickel is worth from .25 to about a dollar in circulated grades. The no date ones are worth .05 cents to maybe .10 if sold to a hobo nickel maker. The 1940 is a very common cent and sells for around .03-.05 cents in a dealers wheat cent box.

The 1935 nickel would retail for $4 to $6 in average circulated condition. The dateless nickels are worth no more than face but are still an interesting item to have. Unless the penny looks like it just came from the mint it would only retail for a $1.00 or less. A dealer would offer you only half these values if anything at all.

Nothing special here but interesting stuff historically.

Have fun.
