I work both in the arts [mostly theatre and opera] and as a writer [theatre, as well as a few published books].
My YA name is a bad Latin conjugation for "everything in the arts."
I should add "career counselor" to my business card, considering that in just two months I've answered about three million YA questions from people wanting to know where they can go to audition to become instant stars. Sigh.....

I guess you would call it the hospitality business, I'm a housekeeper at a resort with almost 300 rooms. It's a tough job but pretty good pay.
