I Still Love You

If you hear me say I love you
Though it be a thousand times
Let it be like diamond light
That always brightly shines

Don’t let its repetition
Somehow dim to something less
For every time I say those words
They’re still filled with tenderness

And when those words escape me
In those times preoccupied
