With all of the cookies and spyware out there, don't you think that Bush and the government monitor your internet activity and even tap into your computer? I am guessing they have developed impressive spyware that is not detectable by commercial products. It wouldn't surprise me if it is even disguised as a software update, and that you have even consented to using it when you pushed the "I agree" button.

It's called searching for anything using Google. But luckily, the U.S. government doesn't know sh*t from shoe-polish. As long as you don't say something like "Gee, I can't wait to do a terrorist attack against a major U.S. city" I don't think they'll come after you. But yes, Big Brother IS watching you...

No, I don't think Bush himself is watching my every move on the internet. I'm pretty sure he has better things to do. (Whether or not he actually does them is another question...)

I do however believe that if the government had any reason so suspect that I may be harming others because of what I do on the internet, they would be looking in on my computer. But I am certain that they wouldn't do anything without a reasonable suspicion. There's just nothing in it for them if you think about it.

I don't really think the govt. is monitoring everything that everyone is doing on their computers, or even tap into sombody's computer at will, because they just simply don't have the resources to willfully access tens of millions of computers. I do believe they use computers to monitor 'key words' or 'phrases' that someone might type doing an internet search, or their emails, in an effort to try to find people involved in malicious activities against the US.
