no, no noooooooooooooooooo...............NOT for serious modeling. I have been modeling since age 13, and Barbizon would be a big NO.

UNLESS.........you just want to take classes so that you know what you're doing. If you have NO experience, than think of Barbizon as a make-up/model "school." And you can never learn enough in this biz.

Good luck!

Barbizon, is well-known as a scam. They charge thousands of dollars for fake modeling lessons.

Do NOT go to Barbizon or John Robert Powers, unless you enjoy giving away your money. You will get NO benefit from Barbizon.

If you want to model, call or go to the top department stores in your city, such as Neiman-Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor.

Ask to speak to the person that books models, ask for names of the best modeling agencies in your city.

Legitimate Modeling Agency NEVER charge the model.

The legitimate modeling industry finds real jobs for its models.

Whatever you do don't join barbizon or jrp they are just rip offs. They say they are acting schools but they take you know where.Join the drama club at school then look into local theatres in your area then look into an agent.Don't forget to take headshots and have resumes.
