I do just this morning I gave a little old lady 5 bucks to go get some thing to eat..She lives on the corner of 34th ave and Buckeye this is all so said to see,is there help for them?Will they except it?
I even give drunks a buck every now and then.They get thirsty also..

I went to Oregon because my sister lives there and you could walk into a burger king and people would have sleeping bags in there and be laying in them. It was so sad. We were walking across a street and we saw in a glass window a shirt that said "Im not a girl" and it was for a baby boy. We said it out loud and a homeless person said "I had a girl once, she was called my wife." That was funny. But there is poverty everywhere. I usually dont give to them but if I had unlimited money I would.

No because I have never seen a homeless person in my life. If I ever saw them I would probably give them a twenty because I can't just walk by that person knowing there hungry.

I work in downtown LA, Skid Row. If I were to give every lazy bum that asked me for a friggin penny, I'd be broke.
If it's a homeless mom with her kid, then OK, but the VAST majority are perfectly capable of working. IT"S NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SUPPORT THEIR HABITS!!!
Edit: I may sound a bit harsh, but there are few places on Earth with as many opportunities as we have here in the U.S. If they choose to bum around instead of work, so be it. They're free to do as they wish. But I won't make their lives easier with handouts while I have to work hard for my money.

I give what ever pocket change I have. here in Canada that can be up to $20 with our loonies & toonies. If I have time I like to take them for something to eat. Buy them a good meal & listen to their story if they are willing to talk. Some amazing stories out there!

Sometimes but some of them are rather agressive. For example they'll wait for you when you get off from work or are leaving a cash machine. It makes me nervous.
Usually I tuck some change in my pocket so I don't have to reach in my wallet but I try to give them something.

I don't give money because they can use it on drugs,Instead i gave them canned food and sometimes clothes...This is not to every one.Is in particular to one that have been living in the neighborhood for more than 5 years and everybody knows him, I also gave him coke cans because he sell it.
