it would require a bit of planning but you could at least know if someone had been online
almost every page these days uses cookies to save stuff to the computer. now under IE go to tools Internet options and select the thing about deleating cookies, before you want to find out (don't use the internet again untill you thing thay may have used it). then check later, if they use dit there with be cookies in the folder (C://Username documents/temp/cookies) this si whatever account they are using if its not yours then look in that account also you have to deleat the cookies form whatever account they are using

if they haven't cleared their tracks you can check the temporary folder, internet cache, history. At run box type %temp% to get to the temp folder (to check any programs that may have downloaded and ran), ie cache - in ie go to tools - ie options, under temporary internet files click settings then click on view, history - open ie then click on the history button in the toolbar with the icons. If they cleared their tracks than i would recommend a keylogger or configure the router to keep a log of outbound connections. Good Luck

If you use a Windows machine, go to Control Panel - User Accounts, and set up a password for your account.
Then, when you leave the room, press the Windows key + L to lock the computer.

Sure, there are lots of ways. One way would be to get some software that tracks everything on your computer.

you could check your history.
it wont tell you when they were on or how long they were on for but it will tell you WHERE they were.
