And the idle is really, really bad. It sounds like a lawn mower. I have no idea what is wrong, but can I take it to Jiffy Lube and have them fix it? I don't know any mechanics, and I don't want to get ripped off. I just want it fixed!

It's a 95 Chevy Blazer. I don't want to take it to a dealer and pay $300 for spark plugs. Can the Jiffy Lube guys at least tell me what is wrong?

I doubt Jiffy lube would be the best place to take it.
A check engine light is an indication that one of the engine sensors has detected a problem and the only way to know what that problem is, is to get a mechanic to look at it.
If it sounds really loud, you've likely got a hole in the exhaust somewhere, but your best bet is to find a good mechanic. Ask around, co-workers, family, friends where you're at for the name of a good trustworthy mechanic. It will be the only way to get your car properly fixed.

Go to a nearby gas station/garage or auto repair place that you have dealt with before and have them check the code that the engine computer is registering. That will help narrow down the problem. Then ask them how much to fix the problem.
I judge by your statement that you don't know any mechanics that you haven't taken your vehicle in for maintenance much, so ask around for advice on the best place to take it.
You didn't mention a make/model/year - If the car is not that old and you bought it new, they might do the repairs under warranty; if not it may cost you some money - anywhere from a few bucks to several hundred, depending on the problem. A rough idle can be caused by any number of things ranging from a bad sensor to more severe problems.

No way, don't go there. Those guys aren't good for anything except changing oil.
You're gonna have to take it to a mechanic unless you have a friend or a parent or someone who knows how to work on cars. It could be:
1) bad spark plug(s)
2) bad spark plug wires
3) bad mass airflow sensor
4) bad O2 sensor
5) Something much worse.
You should take it to a real shop soon though because the longer you leave it and keep driving the more damage it might do.

take it to an auto zone, and ask them to scan the engine for fault codes. after they do that, write down whatever codes they tell you. From there, take it to a mechanic and tell them this is what they found. after inspection, tell us what they thought it was and the price, and we can confirm if its a fair price and the issue is the actual issue.
or if your car is under warrenty, just bring it to the dealer.
and jiffy lube isnt a mechanic shop. all they do is brakes and oil changes.
