Why does Locke kill Naomi right before she is about to page her boat w/ that crazy technological device that is supposedly 80 miles off shore?? And then threatens to kill Jack but can't, finally walking off when Jack's determination answers the call from "who ever" it is that is with Naomi. I don't get who the hell these people are because they sure don't have anything to do with Penny (Desmond's girl). Oh n I heard Walt and Michael will be returning to the series in season 4. What are your thoughts, theories, assumptions??? I wanna hear!

Locke doesn't think anyone should leave the Island, so he's trying to stop everyone. Apparently, the people in the boat, including Naomi, are the new "bad guys" who might even be worse than the Others. Yes, Harold Perrineau has signed on for the next season, but I'm not sure about the kid who plays Walt - he hit his growth spurt and has now grown about 6-7 inches.

Locke was listening to the island, which does not want Naomi's people to find it. They may have been trying to locate the island and Ben because of the mysterious properties associated with it. Perhaps Penny's dad has some stake in the operation; that's why Desmond's picture was on her.
I don't think Walt and Michael ever got to go home; the boat they supposedly took got picked up (maybe by the people who sent Naomi?) and they have been held rather than rescued so they would not reveal the existence of the island.

lock kill naomi cos he noes that no one should live the damn island! if u dont notice they shown the afterwards life of all the survivor still remember tha last one when jack told kate that they shld go bck there??!!!
its still a mystery!
i think that they wil be survived and return to their normal life, but some part of them are still wanting to go back to that island!
i think they are being cursed!
cos if u notice that all of their life doesnt have any meaning even they are in the island or in their normal life??

Locke killed Naomi because he didn't want anybody to come to the island and take him and everyone else away. One of my thoughts are: Why did the stinkin' little directors kill Charlie? He was my favourite character...
I think Desmonde is my favourite now.

Locke doesn't want to be rescued. He wants to stay on the island cus it has magical powers and cured his paralyzed legs. Anyone who wants to get off the island and be rescued is now an enemy.

LOST doesn't make sense but it does make for good drama. Given that Locke was supposed to be against killing in his backstory, it goes against his character to kill her. I think one of the show's main selling points is that it tries to do something to shock the viewer often. Ramping up the drama keeps people interested longer.
