i stir counter-clockwise. just seems to make more sense, because it's the concave side of the spoon and causes more "turbulence".

i'd like to know the story, even if it is long.
wait. you said... "when you stir coffee do you anti or clockwise stir" i need for my own sanity to rephrase it to something more um, readable: If you are an artistic right-handed person and you stir your coffee, do you stir the spoon clockwise (to the right), or counter-clockwise (to the left)
I stir Clockwise first for a few seconds, then counter clockwise as a finishing touch. and as a barista, i can make all kinds of neato designs using foam/steamed milk in hot espresso drinks. hazaah.

I take my coffee black, so sturring isn't necessary, but when I stir anything, clockwise feels natural.
