this was the question:

"Question: Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama 2008 (First lady or First black man)? If you are African American, be mindful that this will be the first and maybe the last black candidate in white presidential history!"

This was my answer

1. Obama is not the first black man to attempt a run at the Presidency.

2. This will not be the last black man to attempt a run at the Presidency.

3. "white Presidential history" ? I wasn't aware that the word 'white' was a required term to use when describing the Presidency.

4. You're an idiot."

WTF!?!?!?!
Yahoo lets a lot of things slide and they come down on me for THIS?!?!

They do that a lot >< Apparently when opinions are expressed in a mature and well written way, they're a violation... but when immature stupid people use chatspeak and type so badly you can't read what they've typed, its allowed to stay where it is.

Your answer was valid except for number four; that was what got your violation report.

We can't make disparaging remarks so says the rules and guidelines of Yahoo! Answers.

It is best to keep our comments pure as the wind-driven snow without caustic answers that could be viewed as name calling and disparaging.

I continue to wonder, however, how some posters get by with using crude and profane words--even those that equate my Church with pimps--and their questions remain to be seen.

Note: Because of my recent violation report I have lost my "Top Contributor" ranking. How sad . . .

I doubt it was Yahoo that complained. Some person clicked on the flag and complained about your answer.

I got a violation last week. I had corrected a teenager who used the word "aloud" when she meant "allowed." For THAT I got a violation. I kid you not.

I agree with everything but I think that yahoo was pissed that you called someone an idiot. The uneducated often times get pampered.

It was the 'IDIOT' comment that someone reported you about. Some people have real thin skins on here...maybe because they ARE idiots and have no life so they report people for stupid, inane things?
