I thought it was excellent. the ending was slightly dissapointing, but I don't think people realize how hard it is to write a perfect ending to a seven-book series: there are so many elements to tie up and only so much space. I thought she did a pretty good job. Considering the expectations people had, it would have to have been one of the greatest books of all time to make everyone happy.
I was very happy with the plot of the book and the resolutions is provided to open questions from the other books. Also, she was very good at incorporating themes into the book, and managed to writein so many it will take me some time to really grasp them all.
I've re-read it twice and I enjoyed it every time!

Great Book, with many un-expected twists (Ron Dissaperaring), Love the fact that Ron && Hermione Ended up together in the end i was so happy at that point.
Every one who died, was un-expected too apart from a Few! Especiall Lupin && Tonks, Poor Teddy :(. And Hedwid...Dobby...Scrimgor....FRED!!! OMG I sobbed!
I know that it was a great book because i laughed and cried (More Tears though). LoL.
I think that J.K Rowling, ended the series with a spectacular book that will always be my favourite of the seven! If you read some of the interviews that J.K Rowling has done since the release you will find out that Harry, and Ron and Hermione all work for the new and improved ministry, which is Great!
I was greatly annoyed that some selfish people posted the book on the internet before hte book was released nad i feel sorry for the people that were lured into this and found out what happened before the book was actually released!
Love Harry Potter and I have done for the last 11 years and I know that i will always love them in the future and in many years to come they will become classics like Dickens and Bronte!

I LOVED it!
I'm going to watch what I say as I don't want to spoil it for those who might not have finished it yet.
It was a very fitting ending, although the prelude was too short for me and left some unanswered questions.
Harry truly became a man in this book, as did Neville. I was so proud of him!
JKR is a genius. The way she used things in previous books to tie up loose ends in this one.
I also loved how the darkness in this book was mirrored by lightheartedness. One minute you would be in shock by what you had read, crying and the next minute you would read something and laugh out loud. PURE GENUIS!
I do feel she has left it wide open though so that other books can be written. Either on the new characters instroduced at the end or even about Harry's parents and friends growing up.

I thought the ending majorly sucked. She had HOW long to make it stellar, and it wasn't... The rest of the book was alright, I guess, though I was kind of sad that the last year at Hogwarts really had nothing to do with Hogwarts... Also I wish she would have answered some more questions. She told us what Longbottom is up to now, but what about Harry? Are he and Ginny just living off his parents' wealth still? Doubtful.
