It strikes me as meaning the following... I hate knowing that I should get to the toast before it burns, knowing it will taste better if I do, but also knowing that I haven't gotten up off my duff to prevent it in the past, and likely won't get up off my duff to prevent it in the future. Or, for sociopaths, it might mean... My objective is to burn the toast, so why does it have to take so long??? Impatient destruction.

If that one guy who's running around holding guns to people's heads and making them give ONLY one answer to things (or sometimes making them choose between two awful choices) turned up, I'd say waiting for my braces to come off.

I hate waiting in line: at the doctor's, the store, etc. I like to do things quickly, so slow moving vehicle staff make me nervous.

I hate waiting, period! Waiting is one of the things I hate most in this life. Emails, phone calls, anything and anyone but, especially, anyone I really care for, and can't wait to hear from. :)

Waiting to use a rest room in a public place. I can't understand why a business doesn't forecast it's clientele volume and just add a few more restroom what would it hurt?
