A country with an amazing and rich history and culture. I've met great russian people, but I think the leaders are a bit scary.

Russia is an interesting nation. Though it has some rather backwards laws and ways (according to my own views, having been raised in developed democracy), the people are actually very friendly. While there is a slight sense of paranoia among larger populations, the smaller populations and a large percentage of the people are well-mannered, intelligent people. The education system may not be high standard, but it certainly works well considering the state Russia is in. I'd say overall that Russia doesn't do that bad for a country that's been through so much turmoil.

A great nation. With the right leader they will go far. (and Putin is the kind of leader they need. Forget all this freedom and democracy claptrap).
