Hey...I was just wondering, is anybody willing to share their first period story? My story is that we just came back from shopping, than ate dinner, than me and my sisters were having a water balloon fight, and when I went to go change...there it was!

i was 9. i woke up in the morning to get ready for school. then my ma just stop me and tells me my shorts had blood. i was so embarrassed because my dad and older brother had probably noticed it too but had not told me anything. my ma introtuced me to pads that day and i didn't go to school. :)

Well, I was almost 12 yrs. old. It was the summer before 7th grade. I went to see a movie with my mom and sister. I had to go to the bathroom really bad, so I just decided to go by myself. I went to the washroom and there it was. I was so freaked out. I ran out to find my sister and mom at the concesion stand. I was so nervous that I pretty much yelled, " I got my period!". The guy behind the concesion stand heard all of it. It was soo embarassing.

Oh gosh....does this question bring back some horrible memories. I was at summer camp, wearing of all things, white jeans. When I dismounted, I was shocked to see that my entire bottom was covered with blood. I was so embarrassed. Luckily I had a great camp counselor that walked me back to our sleeping cabins and helped me get cleaned up. Lord, I was only 11 years old. I was terrified.
I swear this story is true. Oh isn't it great to be a woman? Not always....LOL

Mine's totally not cool.
I was 10 (nearly 11), so I'd had some sex ed in 4th grade. When I found blood in my underwear, I knew I wasn't dying, but I still needed to inform my mother. So I finally worked up the courage and told her. We marched back to the bathroom where she told me to drop my pants. She took one look, said, "Yep, its your period. Pads are under the sink. Good luck." And walked out. Neat, huh?

I was eleven years old and out riding bikes with some of my friends. My stomach started cramping real bad, I thought I was sick. One of my friends and I went to my house use the restroom, when I saw what had happened I told my friend to get my Mom. Then we went out and finished our bike ride.

I was 12 and i was going to take a shower before i went to bed when i was undressing it was there. I told my mom she gave me a pad and then after that I had very BAD CRAMPS so she gave me an aspirin and a warm tea.

I was eleven. I started on the school bus on the way home...I told my little sister who was 8 to go upstairs and get me a pad out of grandma's closet....as if starting my period wasn't bad enough. I said whatever you do, don't tell Uncle Bob...he was 15. She runs upstairs to get the pad and runs back down with the pad hanging out...of course Bob asked her what she was doing...and she told....he teased me horribly. When I got home that night my mom and dad went into the bedroom to discuss what "product" to get me...my dad said, "We're gonna get you diapers"...AGHHHH...so he takes me to Rite-Aid and lets me go in by myself...when I come back out my little sister, once again, looks in the bag and says, "Dad, you said she was getting rags." HORRIFYING!

Well, I was having really bad cramps so I thought I had to use the bathroom, and then I saw it... =] Then I used Tampax Pearl Lites... those worked well..not anymore though, now I use Tampax Pearl Regular.

haha.. i was 10 and had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad, and i was with my grandma on the freeway and we stopped at a gas station (the kind where the bathroom required a key) and i ran in there and the toilet was pulled off the wall and was sitting on the sink!!! so we had to go to another one where there was a LINE!! and the guy who went in front of me took like 15 min. and i almost peed myself, and when he got out i ran in, even tho it smelled AWFUL!! and then there it was!! i freaked out tho

I spent the night at my grandmas and the next morning i woke up and went downstairs to go to the bathroom and it was there!
