Definitely, and it's been happening over quite a number of years. In the South West of England, Summer and warm weather were something we used to look forward to, the same as we knew it would be cold and frosty in the Winter. Spring brought the lovely flowers and Autumn was a riot of colour as the leaves changed. Present day Summers are starting and finishing later and can no longer be relied upon for sunshine. Winters, with the possible exception of a day or two, are much milder than they used to be. The winds, however, seem a lot stronger and more frequent than they used to be and we're lucky if the Autumn leaves stay on the trees long enough for us to admire them. With the milder Winters, the Spring flowers are often appearing as early as late January or early February. It used to be that we needed distinct Winter and Summer wardrobes, but in the South now I tend to wear quite similar clothes most of the year 'round when I'm in the UK.

Depends on what you define as a season and where you live.

Some places have more or less than 4 seasons usually. Two to five seasons is common throughout the world.

But, yes, the number of seasons are changing for some people in the World. Either they have the same number of seasons, but with different periods of length, or they are losing (or gaining) 1 or more of their traditionally defined seasons.

But in most, the number hasn't changed (yet), although the duration and intensity of these may have been altered.

Yes. Where I live, it seems like the warm weather of summer is lasting longer into the fall an winter, but once winter gets here, is seems like it takes forever for spring to get here.

Just south of where I live, people tell me that it rains a lot more when it use to snow in times past and when it does snow, the snow melts a lot faster. I know some folks who have come to work in the region where I live, and there amazed at how much it snows while only a few miles south, where they're from, it's raining!!!!

You have got to be the most interesting person I've ever come across. You seem to want to aquire many diff. ideas from peoples opinions.
Anyway, I don't think we are loosing the seasons I think the seasons are getting stronger. Summers are getting hottter, winters we get more snow. But on the other hand in the fall not so much time to enjoy the changing of the colors and in the spring, not so much rain!!!And too it gets hot earlier!!
So that's my opinion.

For sure!! I live in the north east of scotland and remember years ago that we always had loads of snow in winter that lay for weeks. These last two winters we've been lucky to have snow at all and what we did get came in March and April and didn't stay around for more than a couple of days. The seasons are definately changing

I'm afraid it's true, the seasons no longer fall into place, it's more like 10 months of autumn/spring and 2 months of summer in Cornwall

The seasons seem to have shifted forwards a few months. Winter didn't properly kick in until after Christmas (in the south anyway), it was snowing in April, and summer seems to be on finally on it's way now that we are almost in August.

No but i do believe we are seeing them shift. Winter seems to be late December till early March. Summer doesnt seem to last as long though can be hotter (apart from this year in the UK) Spring seems to go so fast, blink and you miss it, Same goes for Autumn. I can see us losing Spring and Autumn and just have Summer and Winter, though this wouldnt be for decades yet.

Yes.

I live in GA and it's always hot year round, but in December - March it was really, really cold. It was around 38 every morning and 60 in the afternoon. But it always gets really, really hot in the summer. But lately it's been raining a lot more and windy. It's like the entire year is just becoming one big, cold season.
