It is burning antifreeze, the exhaust is white and smells like antifreeze. I know its either the head gasket or the head is cracked. It also leaks a little bit of oil in between the head and the block. Would that mean its the gasket or would a cracked head cause it to do that?

I know the oil is leaking from somewhere else, and i think its aorund the valve seals and then its runnig out around there.

Where theres no oil between the head and block.. The only passages on the block decks are for coolant.

The using water, sweet smelling exhaust, white exhaust are all signs of like you said a blown head gasket or a cracked head..

The oil most likly is coming from another place and running down the head and making it look like it's coming from between head and block.. I would look at the valve cover gaskets, oil pressure sender port on rear block rail next to intake, intake end seals, etc

The only way to tell is to remove the heads and have them checked. Cracked heads do not leak oil. Cracked heads will cause the same problem as a leaking head gasket.

All great answers, but beware of putting new cylinder heads on. We have seen instances where new heads go on a vehicle with 250,000 kms on the bottom end, and it is too much for the bottom end to take, and the bottom end lets go within 4 months. If you are a low miler, go for it. But there isn't a surefire method to confirm a head problem until the head comes off.

There's no way to tell what it is until you get it apart. It could be just an intake gasket that is leaking AF into the intake port as well. Like I said, you can't tell until you get it apart as far as you have to until you are sure you have found what is leaking. Good luck.

doesnt really matter which problem you have, the heads need to come off either way.
