WIth the guys I live with, I doubt it. I have a very hard time using a bathroom that has been used by my dad and my older brothers. If there is a why, I bet it will be some kind of mind control thing.

I think moms must have a say in that. My mom told me that when I was being potty-trained, she always taught me to put the seat down. I'm now 19 and I always put the seat down without thinking twice about it.

u cant train men but all i do is just put the seat down when a guy uses it

yes...if he forgets to put it down again just grab him by the ear, take him the the bathroom and say "look what you did," in a really mean and loud tone of course, "you didnt let the seat down!" then tap him on the butt with a news paper and say "bad human...bad human" while shaking you finger in a no kinda way. 1.WARN him to put the toilet seat down.
2.WAIT and see if he listens.
3.IF he listens give him a beer.
4.IF he doesn't listen SPRAY him on the face with a water bottle.
5.SEE if he learns anything.

what a non -issue, plus one would think gravity is there to assist you ladies in lowering the seat, 1 finger operation. we men lift the seats as a courtesy to you...beats peeing all over it

It is a sanitary issue, not a laziness issue. My husband learned by choosing to put it down or no sex. Just like kids you train them by restricting what they like.
