There are lots of ways to get enough protein without meat or eggs. Combine beans and rice, use soy products, Quinoa, and hemp are also good. You need to be sure that you have all of the essential amino acids so you get complete protein.

I'm a vegetarian and I try to make sure I have adequate protein intake. You can't build muscle if you don't have the proper amount of calories and protein in you.
I like the Boca products and the Amy's entrés.
There are also other brands like Morning Starâ¢, Garden Burgerâ¢, Silkâ¢, and all kinds of protein shakes and nutrition bars. You just need to spend a little time at Wal-Martâ¢

Since you need protein, soy is your best friend. "Silk" soy milk is very palatable as a base for shakes, and tofu is extremely versatile as a meat/egg substitute. Vegetarians really need to spend some time learning to cook the foods they need, as otherwise the choices are limited and boring.
