Everytime I see something in the news I don't like, it's the liberal media lying to me. They lie all the time. For example I saw in a LIBERAL news paper that the stock market went down. Now I don't like this so it must be more liberal lies! Ithought people who owned things were rich, how come newspaper and news channel owners aren't more like our leaders, and lie for the good of the nation?

I love the way you explained this. Some people think any thing they don't like must be liberal and blame liberals and the media for telling the truth when events and facts don't support their right wing beliefs. I wonder sometimes why it is they can't handle the truth so they have to call facts "liberal."

Sarcasm noted. The fact is that liberals have no political power whatsoever in this country. They have no control over the media. What drives the slant on news is $$$. In an increasingly capitalist climate the major networks are demanding profit from the news bureaus. Simply put, this forces the news bureau to go after sensational, scandal-inducing stories that my conservative counterparts cry about and call "liberal". We weren't complaining when the "liberal" media joined in the witchhunt against Clinton. We don't seem to care when the reports are about liberal candidate's clothes and haircuts. We conservatives have been solidly and solely in power since 2001. The mess that the country is in is our fault, not Clinton's. Wake up and quit crying about phantom liberal power sources. We are in control - let's do something good.

God allows the Liberals to control the media and the Internet and basically the world.
Why?
Because if the Conservatives controlled them, it would be worse lying (that is possible) and the confusion would be too much to bear.
We have now the least of two evils.
The Conservatives are actually worse even though you may not believe this.
Example; Ann Coulter, Bill O'Relly, Rush Limbaugh imagine them controlling the media, it would be much worse than it is now.
God said he would never give us more than we could bear.

Believe it or not, it's directly for your benefit. From your question, I can see that you are both old and salty. A curmudgeon, if you will. Salty Old people like nothing more than to grouse, so the Media recognized the market value of giving you something to grouse about. Rejoice- the liberal media is the Free Market in action. They're just supplying a demand, so grouse your cold, dead, little heart out!

The media misses very important stories and is clearly slanted politically. Where as individual reporters tend to be liberal, you will find very conservative editorials and very conservative choices of stories amoung the editorial staff.

Liberals do not run the media. Ruppert Murdock types do.

Because if the media weren't run by liberals, conservatives wouldn't have a convenient conspiracy to blame all their failures on.
