Yes, and I was so sad. I used to watch his show when on CBS when I was little. He was one of the great interviewers, right up there with Merv, and Dinah Shor, Charlie Rose and Larry King. I was only ten or eleven when I began watching hos show, and I would stay up late to watch it every night. He had a very eclectic mix of people on his show and his interviews were always intimate, funny and compelling. I remember him interviewing Drew Barrymore, and talking to Fran Drescher about her rape, and interviewing Phil Hartman not long before his death. He was awesome.

Oh my goodness! NO, I didn't , I loved Tom Snyder! Now, I'll have to research and find out what happened.
