Amber and Dustin are not dating. Dustin has said on the show that he is gay. By saying that they loved each other it was only as friends not as in dating.

They are just close friends in the house, but just a note in case you haven't noticed- Amber tells almost everyone she loves them. Maybe she thinks that will make them feel better when they realize she has been backstabbing them.
