Except it's not true. Both Nazism and fascism (of which Nazism was/is a particular variety) were extreme authoritarian corporatist ideologies that were not about capital redistribution.

From his libertarian perspective (which he's known for), von Mises sees ANY governmental structure as, definitionally, left-leaning.

[EDIT] Note, too, that Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Quisling, and other fascists of the era saw themselves in mortal contention with communism, referring to themselves as rightists and Stalin (and Churchill and Roosevelt) as leftists.

Thanks for playing, though. We have a lovely parting gift for you. Please troll again another time.

Sorry but you are very wrong on this Fascism is a form of Governing people, Communism is a way of handling money. The Nazi party was a Fascist party, nad Nazism is a brutal way of controling the people governal,it is a state were the governing may be kill at will by those that rule over them. The worlds first Fascist party started in Spain and was based on a idea that anything that you need to survive as a people could not be held by one man. It the railroad and phone belonged to the people. It started before the first world war and grow to a power before the start of the second world war.

if you look at a political compass or some kind of chart you will see Nazism, derived from Nationalism, is actually to the right. So is fascism. Communism is the very far left.

If you go to this link and look at the visuals you will see Hitler and Stalin at opposite ends of the social spectrum, though economically to the left along with Ghandi, Marx, and Einstein. On the economic Right is Clinton, JFK, and Reagan. Far right you have Mussolini and Bush W.

lol, you want intelligent contention to a bold faced lie? Socialism is derived from left winged thinking. Fascism (which you have replied to as Nazism and bolshevism) is derived from right winged thinking. Stalinism combined the worst aspects of both Socialism and Fascism and is what people usually think of when they think of Communism.

It's a political myth perpetrated by US Republicans. Legitimate political scientists classify fascism as a far right ideology. Economically, it is pro-capitalist, which is the opposite of communism. Foreign policy is militaristic, which is the opposite of liberalism.

If you insist on the premise of two wings, then communism is left and the others are right.

I just cannot see how anyone would NOT see the left-wing view!

face...GW Bush....far right economically? ROFLMAO!!! Spending like it was free is far left. Bush has become liberal enough that Hillary MAY be able to make herself look centrist.

Don't agree. Communism is an economic policy that has never been tested and the other two are political ideologies.
