My family won't let me date any blacks. I don't know why.

I would allow it, and I think that if someone wants to have an inter-racial marriage, then that's absolutely fine. However, I myself wouldn't have an inter-racial marriage, but like someone above me said, that's only due to preference. I also had some bad experiences with people from other nationalities and races (Turkish people mostly, but also some Asians and Indians who demanded that I do things I wasn't comfortable with, and then when I refused, they did their best to ruin my life), so I would be reluctant to be in any intimate relationship with someone from another race, because I am very wary now. But, like I said before, it's all down to personal choice. I just personally wouldn't be in an inter-racial marriage.

Good question, by the way! You can have a star!

I really have no authority to say whether or not someone can marry someone outside my race.

I'm dating someone outside my nationality... I'm Lebanese and my boyfriend isn't. That's very unheard of in my family. Especially since I'm a girl. If I were a guy, it wouldn't such a big deal, but I'm not, so it is.

I was raised to date white boys because I'm white.

I've disowned most of my cousins and aunts/uncles because they're idiots who are married and then cheat with black men.

in my opinion black men only go after white girls because they think we're easy and in all reality most are.

Now don't get me wrong, there's a lot of great black men and not skanky white women. This is only my observations.

As for me, I've never had a crush on a black guy and not because of what I was raised- I just simply don't find them all that attractive. I prefer light brown hair and blue eyes...don't find that in black men.....

times are changing though and we'll see when I have children....you just want your children to be happy...I can see this being a huge problem later since my bf dated asians and has no problem with it....

I'm not sure if I have a problem or not...but it's when they have children....I don't really like seeing some white young girl holding a black child who is theirs...it just looks weird....

I do! My brother is married to a white woman, and we are Asian. My children have mostly black friends, so I figure that is what race they will marry someday and I am fine with it. Black and Asian mixed kids are gorgeous. Besides, love sees no colour!

I could care less if there was interracial marriage in my family. As a matter of fact, there has been.

My family does. I'm the product of one of the many. Love reaches past boundaries of race, color, and creed.

Someone in my family married a guy with a hairlip, does that count?

it would be allowed in mine. i would not marry out of race though. it is not because i am racist it is preference. think about the discrimination and hardships that a kid who would be bi-racial would face in this world too. it is not right to bring one of them in the world and force them to face something like that. good luck.
