My cousin has really bad self-esteem, and I'm trying to boost it. I think she's really pretty, but I want other people's honest opinions. Please help!

I know there's a glare on part of the picture, but it doesn't really interfere with you seeing her clearly.

She's adorable! It sucks that she has lousy self esteem and it's nice that you are trying to do something about it. However, it does not matter if a million people thinks she's pretty, she has to feel good about herself, both the internal and external qualities. Tell her to list five things she likes about herself and help her focus on these. Once she is comfortable with that, her self confidence will eventually fall into place.

I didnt look at the picture but even if I did, and think she is pretty, it will not change how she feels about herself. Feeling good needs to come from within and there's nothing you can tell her. There may be deeper reasons why she feels this way and maybe counseling may help. Or even getting out and making friends and getting involved in some activities. Putting her picture on the internet so strangers can comment on her looks dosent make any sense.

She is very pretty.
She probably feels self conscious about her braces too. I am 25 and have braces and am always worried about how I look with them.
